I think I love this more than any other parts of the Bible I’ve read.
At the time, the only thing I knew about the Apocrypha was that it was left out of most mainstream Protestant Bibles, but appeared in some Catholic versions of the Bible.
Then there are Ecclesiasticus and the Book of Wisdom which the editor assures us are important documents in the history of religious thought I think there’s real truth to the idea that Wisdom as seen in Proverbs kind of gets bigger and stronger Undoubtedly interesting, with varied sources of interest, just like the canonical Protestant Bible.
